2345“So about a year ago I had a famous artist by the name of Deb hire me to do a commission wall with her,” says Sean, who I found in Melbourne’s Hosier Lane, a haven for graffiti artists.

”I was talking to her about how she gets these commission jobs and wondering why she still does it. She told me it was because it’s her salary, she gets paid to do it.

”I asked her whether lettering for graffiti can pay as well, and she told me this. I remember that every day because when I’m older and I have the money to be able to do artwork freely, I’d like to somehow be able to make an income from my artwork.”
