2344“I went to the Ecuadorian Amazon a few years ago,” says Tammy, who runs a travel blog with her husband.

”I visited a local indigenous tribe. The village was nearby a river, and our guide said to come there because he had just seen a crocodile.

”He told us a few interesting facts about the crocodile, but the most memorable one is this one. I found that really weird because I’ve no idea if it’s true or not. I’ve no idea if anyone’s ever tested it, because it’s a random fact and I loved it.

”I still remember it today and I can’t say that of any other thing that a tour guide has ever said to me.”
