Aaron wrote: “This is an SOTM from my friend, Kirk, whom I've known since high school. He went on to study engineering but left the profession after only a few years to pursue writing and filmmaking on a full-time basis.

”Of his SOTM, Kirk said: ‘My Grandpa told me this after I had lost a lawn tennis match and was angry about it. (I think this also pertains to life in general).’

“To elaborate just a bit: ‘Don't take it on’ is a figure of speech we use locally which basically means ‘Don't worry about it.’ I think that his SOTM is especially appropriate – those of us who know him would testify that this is actually one of his life philosophies.

”He has since published two books currently available on Amazon. He also has a youtube channel and has starred in a few local productions.”
