1421Our subject, a very tall chap, explains in his audio clip that he was recently among an indigenous community in Northern Alberta, Canada.
While there he had dinner with the former chief of the community, who said he wished visitors to his community could talk his language, so as to enjoy the full flavour of the stories to be told. He went on to tell our subject that when his language was translated into English, something of the meaning was lost.
I randomly stood our subject in front of that bicycle and make jokes about it being his hog (on account of his biker-style facial hair) only to discover that it really was his bike.
Taken at a meeting of the Tuttle Club in Kings Cross, London.
