2301“Three years ago I walked into my hostel,” says Stephen, who runs the travel blog A Backpacker’s Tale.

“It was really late at night and there was a drunk guy sitting there on a couch. I started talking to him. I was like: ‘Dude, you look like you’ve had a rough night.”

”And he was like: ‘Nah, man.” And he told me this. The next night I went out and that was stuck in my head. So I might have made a bad decision that night. But ever since, I’ve always gone out and thought this.”
