2119“In my freshman year in high school, my English teacher told me this,” Lela explains in her audio clip “The reason why it’s kind of stuck with me over the years is that I am now a writer, I was English but in an American high school, and it has resonated as something that kind of fulfilled itself in some sort of way.”
