Nevertheless, Dan harboured feelings for her, and blurted this out to a mutual friend of theirs – who then told him the SOTM you see here.

However, this did not deter our hero. “When this other guy flew the coop, I got in there and managed to persuade Sam to get with me instead. And now, seven years later we’re married and with a baby on the way. Everything turned out well.” Good work, fella.
