2022“One of my all-time heroines is a wildlife biologist called Jane Goodall who researched chimpanzees in East Africa. I met her many, many years ago when I was in East Africa, then I met her again 10 years later when I was in a job that I hated, and utterly miserable.

”She turned round and said: ‘Frances, you’re miserable. Follow your heart.’ I came to Scotland, I chucked everything else in, and I have never looked back.”
