2443This is Torre, an author who wrote a book about her journey across the South Pacific in a small sail boat, despite her fear of deep water, with a man she’d only been dating a few months.

“So when I sailed across the South Pacific it was hard at times,” she says in her audio clip.

“I was emailing my dad about being in storms and some of the awful things that were happening. His advice was this.

”So I turned to writing about the experiences as a way to process them into something positive.”
