2381“Some years ago someone said this to me,” explains David Campbell, who is the British High Commissioner in Brunei, in his audio commentary.

“That really struck a chord with me. I think so often in life you can take things for granted, assume that something will happen and there’s nothing you can do about it.

”Therefore this thought has stayed with me, to not always jump ahead to the inevitable conclusion, that sometimes there are things you can do to make a difference.”
