1040 Rene Mikkelsen submitted this through the SOTM Flickr group. Now I know it isn’t a photograph, but I’ve decided to allow it, as I like the story and the effort made by the illustrator - which is in the website's style.

“I used this image for my own webcomic, based on the idea behind the wonderful website Someone Once Told Me, but I wasn't planning on adding this version to SOTM, but ended up doing it anyway.

“It's supposed to show me, in a boat on the ocean with a lighthouse in the back, as these have been recurring elements in my webcomic.”
