1955“My name is Rubyyy Jones and this was said to me when I was living in Oakville, just outside Toronto in Canada," she says in her audio clip.

"I was going to college for music theatre. I was just about to finish and the idea of moving to London had come up.

“But I was absolutely terrified, to the point where I could hardly consider it. There was an acting teacher who I really trusted. We had a tutorial together – it was just us in a little room. In the end I mentioned to her this idea and how scared I was. She said this to me.

“She was quite intense in that amazing way, but she really held me in that moment. I can’t think of too many more powerful moments in my life.”
