”I was in the security line at the airport and a guard looked at me and said this. I’d just seen him at the Martin Luther King centre – cos I was in Atlanta – and I didn’t think anything of it.

”Literally 30 seconds later he was like ‘Did you pack your own bag sir? Are you travelling alone? Where are you going?’

”I was like ‘Wait, you just told me I look like Gandhi, now I’m getting randomly searched?’

”I was clean shaven at the time, but decided if I was going to get randomly searched frequently, which I did, I don’t want to look like Gandhi. So that’s why I have a beard.”
