2558“In the course of growing up - I’m the youngest of six children - this was our family motto,” Kathryn says in her audio clip.

”My dad would always say this to us. When we came back from an exam or test, we would be worried and we would say: ‘Oh I think I’ve failed.’

”And he would say: ‘Have you done your best? Your best is always enough. If you’ve always done your best, then what more can you do?’

”It’s particularly appropriate for me at the moment because my children are both doing exams. There’s so much stress going on for them, and this is what I say.”

”It’s something all my siblings take with us, that if you do your best in life then you’ve done the utmost and you can’t do any better."
