1120Foreign Language Friday: So I was waiting for a SOTM volunteer one Sunday morning in Hyde Park, when this young lady approached me, explaining that she was on holiday in England, had become separated from her friend in the park’s crowds and needed to get a phone number from the internet. One iPhone internet surf and phone call later, she was reunited with said friend.

In return, she posed for SOTM. Her message means “Your life has to become a work of art” in Spanish, for our subject is from Mexico. She explains in her audio commentary how her SOTM came from a teacher in her former college. “It was like the perfect line to me,” she said, “because I want my life to be a work of art”.
